Preceptors

Welcome to the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy Experiential Web page! The construction of this Web site is due to the outstanding efforts of Gary Miller, information technology consultant.

Our goal is to provide some additional tools to our valued preceptors through this Web page, including the ability to post student evaluations online, review a student's experiential portfolio and update the specific characteristics of your clerkship site. The development of this Web page is ongoing, and we welcome your comments and input. Please direct your comments or questions to either Gary Miller or myself at itom@ohsu.edu.

The success of our experiential program is a direct result of the dedication, enthusiasm and support of our affiliate faculty members. As a preceptor, you are eligibile for an affiliate faculty appointment. Affiliate faculty appointments are given at the discretion of myself, Pharmacy Practice Chair, and Dean Kradjan, and are subject to the OSU policy that is attached for your reference. While affiliate faculty status does not confer employment, you are eligible for a University ID card and associated privileges. These privileges include joining recreational facilities, purchasing parking permits and using OSU library services.

Thanks for all that you do for our pharmacists-in-training. The future of our profession lies in the hands of these eager students. Your contributions to their professional development will continue to impact the role that pharmacists play in patient care for several decades to come.

Warm regards,

Matthew Ito, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS
